even if we get everyone we are after, which is very unlikely, we still would probably be no higher than 6th. unless the rumors that OU is flipping wheaton actually happen, or like i said we get all 4 players we are after, we are pretty much locked in at 7

The expectation on 247 is that we end up in sixth place. Three top six classes in a row isn't too shabby

So no news early in the morning. LJ at 1PM CST, and Malone at 3PM CST. I wonder if Malone is informing the staff tonight or they are also in the dark

not in modern recruiting history. ive seen it suggested we may have signed the #1 class in the country at one point in the 90s but that was obviously before internet recruiting sites were around

Sips being a clown show now helps a lot but hopefully we can continue to grow in prominence to the point that whatever they are doing doesn’t matter

problem is we have LSU who recruits at a slightly better rate than we do and bama who is its own universe and we have to play them every year. we really need to hit it big with a qb to take the next step and be able to reliably compete year in and year out with bama

Bama and Ohio State currently get the very top Texas kids. We really need to change that
