Yes, feeling better. Would prefer Manning, but a JUCO CB is a great consolation prize. Just need to hold on to Harris, and add one of Smith or Evans, and this class could be the best in a long time

Last years class was good, but this year's class is even better at filling needs no matter the rankings. I don't think we are going to be entirely happy with the attrition that comes as a result ...

Still missing an elite OT. I still think Shepherd will be a bust but we'll see. Other than that it think we've done great.

He did not play as a freshmen, but they were very high on him and fought like hell to keep him from transferring. He has elite tools, but is raw.
He’s leaving for the same reason Herman has lost McCoy and Pouncey and Johnson - there are serious problems in the locker room.

I think Harris is the one to be nervous about. He might flip, but I don't think he will. Even if he does, this is not the same as Mr. Texas A&M. I think everyone has understood that Harris was going to be a tough pull. And as far as I know he doesn't have an A&M tattoo just yet.
When you recruit the big boys, you have to go thru this stuff. If you don't like the anxious moments, you should just recruit the easy JAGS like we have for years. I like the way Jimbo recruits way better myself.

Oh please! I can already see the thread..."but I wish Jimbo would have taken XXX over YYY...we needed to recruit at least one more AAA instead of taking those extra QQQs".

I just want to say that I think Fadil Diggs is going to be a monster for us. I think he's going to contribute right away. His stats from his senior year are insane. I'm thinking it was something like 20 sacks, 100 tackles, and 1000 receiving yards.

He could definitely be a high end TE. But 100 tackles and 20 sacks!
Reminds me of when Jimbo talked Marcus Spears into moving from TE to DE. He showed him the NFL money made by TEs, and the NFL money made by DEs.
