It's Rivals ranking that is mainly holding him back, they don't even have him nationally ranked lol. 247 and espn both have him as a 5* already.

He's 205 lbs as a DE, as a '21 kid he would have a lot of time to add weight still. As a '20 kid I could understand him not being a 5*, I don't think he could be an immediate contributor.

hes decently undersized right now for a DE. hes 210, busch is 250. murphy is 260. those are your elite ends in this class. you take him and are happy and you redshirt him because talent is talent, but i have a hard time believing he will be a fringe five star when he gets classified. but a national top 100 with a composite over .9600? thats my guess

That was my thought. The talent is still there regardless. Maybe it'd just be at .9400-.9500 instead of .9900 range.

Is there any chance we get Devin without having to use a scholly? Or did that ship sale when he took an official? (We could always bump his Dad's salary and make it worth their while.)

I believe that ship has sailed with the official visit, and Price has said he has a full scholarship offer with no stipulations attached. There are still tricks that can be played to fit an extra player into this class using his spot (although I don't think that will be an issue) but Price will be on scholarship if he plays for A&M.

If we end up anywhere north of 275 and I’m thinking around 8th in the composite standings I’ll be well pleased. We have a tough schedule and it seemed this class was going to be difficult for us - as we’ve had to go out of state for quite a bit of kids. Im pretty ecstatic about how this is looking.

He would be a 5 star 247 composite if it wasn't for Rivals, they still have him at the 38th best player in the state, and not in their top 250.

Him and Chibuzo are the only big drops this round, most everyone else went up are stayed about the same. Not sure what is up with Moten but he's been headed down hill steadily since his season ended last year, over 100 spots since December which is about what Omeire is down since committing
