We will take a smaller class this cycle, and before 19 was even done TA, 247, and Hamm were all saying that Jimbo was wanting to take his time this year.
Losing burns sucks, but i wouldn't paint with a broader brush than necessary.

Leah Knight has reportedly moved on from college football and went into medical sales.
Our new Executive Director of Recruting is Larry McDonald, he joined A&M football in 2017 while getting his Masters at A&M, and had been an assistant for recruiting. Arkansas hired him away in early March to be their Director of Recruiting, and we stole him back after only a few weeks on the job.

Has anyone heard anything on Mowry? Sounds like Ellison is not happening for 2019, but I still have hope for Mowry.

Don’t remember the names but there are two that they are desperate for, they have both said they’re coming to our campus and then planning to make it to Austin in time for their spring game. But Austin is very fearful that, like in the past, the recruits will never make it to Austin and will wind up staying the night or late into the evening in college station.

That’s what I don’t understand the rain is supposed to be late Friday night early Saturday morning
Maybe they’ve got weather people telling them that the system is going to stall a little and move slower pushing the storms to Saturday afternoon and evening

I think we’re selling Herman short. He’s an easy target to pick apart, but whatever he’s doing is working too. They’re getting some payers. They’re winning a few ballgames (OU & UGA regardless of circumstance).

And they are about to be the top dog in the “big” 12. I think ou finally starts to fall off under Riley. That’s my hot take. I don’t think the defense is ever going to even be adequate with Riley’s offense, requiring them to constantly win shootouts. So far he’s had two heisman qb’s. I think they will start to lose some of those games.
Herman is recruiting talent, they’ve finished ahead of us the past two years. So as much as sarge wants to hate him, and he’s EXTREMELY easy to hate, I think they’re set up to be the main player moving forward. Add in the “Texas is back” hype machine, the weak conference and I think they replace ou in the playoffs, assuming the pac continues to keep sucking. That said they will loose just like ou going up against the big boys, but winning their conference and making playoffs or ny6 bowls will make recruiting tough for ags.

Herman is going to recruit well there. I think there’s plenty of talent for both programs to thrive honestly and I’m not concerned at all about Jimbo getting his
