Last year we lost to Texas Southern by 15 at home. Prior to Kennedy, A&M was unbeaten vs. Melvin Watkins. He ended his career with a losing record against Anderson and Melvin. (5-6)

Let me end the argument right now.
In 13 seasons as a head coach, Buzz Williams has missed the NCAA tournament 4 times (including this season)
In 21 seasons as a head coach, Billy Kennedy made the NCAA tournament 4 times.
Oh, and let's discuss performances in Bud Walton.

2013: Lost to a 19-win Arkansas team by 11
2015: Lost to a 27-win Arkansas team by 6
2016: Lost to a 16-win Arkansas team by 3
2017: Lost to a 27-win Arkansas team by 7 (swept by Arkansas that season)
2018: Lost to a 23-win Arkansas team by 19
None of those Arkansas teams is as good as this year's.

I will guarantee you it won't take Buzz 5 seasons to make the NCAA Tournament.

He had more tournament appearances at Virginia Tech than Kennedy did at A&M.

Buzz has coached a rec team to a SEC win. I honestly was concerned we’d go 0-fer at the start of the year.

I don’t know much about b-ball. I don’t really follow college b-ball.
But I saw Buzz cracking that team up and those players having a good time with him.
