Oh and by the way, I'm already hearing about some possible transfers in the future to fill gaps in this class, including a linebacker and another o-lineman

Well, I can promise him that there won't be a place for a TE in a Kevin Sumlin offense. No idea how good of a player he is, but he appears to be able to think rationally.

Quick Google search revealed the following names on the Grad Transfer market at LB and TE. Very likely this is not everyone who is available but its a start.
LB
Jahvoni Simmons, UVA (6'1" 235)
Brandon Rutt, Arizona (6'3" 227)
Brannon Barry, Illinois State (6'4" 229) From Plano, TX
Troy Henderson, Syracuse (5'11" 215)
Josh Harris, Arkansas (5'10" 221)
Ricky DeBerry, Oklahoma (6'1" 235)
TE
Trevor Wood, Arizona (6'6" 265)
Ian Bunting, Michigan (6'7" 252)
I would probably take both of the TEs if we could get Bunting as well. We need body types like that on the roster.
For the LBs, maybe the Arizona kid could provide some good depth. The Illinois State kid is intriguing as well. Other than that I would probably pass.

VIP Brian Perroni: A&M offer gives OT transfer Calvin Anderson something to think about
Rice offensive tackle graduate transfer Calvin Anderson has found himself a popular man among college head coaches. After not receiving much recruiting attention out of Austin Westlake in the class of 2014, he has had a who's who of coaches come to see him in Houston.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder had taken official visits to Texas and Michigan already with one set up this weekend to Auburn. Now, though, yet another school is in the mix as Texas A&M offered Anderson on Wednesday. "It was cool but it was a little unexpected," he said. "I had just really started talking to them really recently. They told me today that they were offering me." While Anderson has eliminated quite a few schools already, he says the A&M offer is on that intrigues him. "They are known for offensive linemen and my goal is to get to the league," he said. "That's what I've always said. I want to go to the best spot that prepares me for the league. I know the o-line coach there, coach (Jim) Turner, he has put a big of linemen in the NFL so it's hard to ignore that."
Anderson had pretty much narrowed things to a top three so he is still figuring out where the Aggies fit in. "I'm still having to process it a little since it's so new," he said. "I'm not sure if I will visit. I sort of had everything figured out but this is a curveball. They said they'll talk to me again after my Auburn visit. I like that they're respecting my time." Anderson redshirted his first year on campus at Rice and has one more year of eligibility remaining. He graduates in May and will transfer to his school of choice at that point. He hopes to make a decision in the relatively near future.
The Aggies are after Arizona tight end grad transfer Trevor Wood as well and are bringing him in for a midweek visit next week.

All and all a pretty good day, would have liked a little more but for a short cycle with a brand new early signing day I feel like Jimbo & Co did very well.
Looking forward to the future, yes I've been sucked back in to following the program closely again dammit.
