I suspect Jimbo's strategy will be to focus on retaining who is already in (or until recently was in) the boat.
Any signs on who else he is attempting to pursue?
He may just be in Best Player Available mode from here on out. Would be hard to argue we are too strong at any particular position on the roster.

That's what fear looks like

Fortin decommits, sounds like Fisher may have hinted his offer was no longer on the table.

Yeah, probably don’t want to potentially piss off Gunnell either. Looks like Jimbo really likes him

Wonder if Jimbo is just gonna stand pat with 3 QBs next year in Starkel, Mond and Blumrick. Kind of thin there, but maybe he is making room for other players at other positions he wants more. Might have a walk on candidate in mind for this year.

This thread just got a whole lot more fun. I haven't felt like getting into this shite in 3 years.

With Blumrick redshirting and being a class behind Mond and Starkel I think it’s possible
Unless of course Mond transfers

not even worth thinking about

Hoping we dont take a qb. If no transfers arise we should be fine. Will allow for another highly rated prospect for Jimbo to secure

247 put out an update, Jimbo targeting 4 guys:
Justin Fields
Justin Rogers
Matthew Baldwin
James Foster
Apparently Fields and Craig are best buds and Fields has "very real interest" per Perroni and is expected to take an official visit here. If that happens I'm buying stock in mason jars.

If James.Coley is hired on as OC, Justin Fields recruitment could become very interesting.

As long as we're filling jars, we might as well pay to bring Dell McGee with him, he's a cruiting sob.
Fisher - HC
Coley - OC
McGee - RB
Brewster - WR/TE
Turner - OL
Robinson - DC
Price - DL
Miller from FSU??? - LB
??? - DB
Banks - ST
Craig - Recruiting Coordinator

Why not RS Mond?
Zero chance he sticks around if you do that. As long as we sign a QB in this class I don’t see an issue with him transferring though
Fields still seems like the longest of shots, I would be fine signing someone like Baldwin with Gunnell on board for next year. I also think Starkel could be really good in this offense though
