How do y'all think we'll fare against Florida and Tenn?

Mond will turn the ball over 7 times between the two opponents. He'll blame it on Tony Busbee and cry racism.

Should be tough games, I expect us to be competitive in both. We definitely didn’t get the worst draws

We definitely got by far the worst draw of the competitive west teams, though. Both our games are harder than any game drawn by auburn or Bama or lsu.

In the grand scheme of things Bama still plays Georgia and LSU still plays Florida.
I’m not gonna have a negative outlook, we should be competitive and personally I think we should win those games

Edit: I do understand your point, but it’s a 10 game conference schedule, everybody is gonna play someone hard

That's how it goes year-to-year. We had a murderous schedule last year, and we were supposed to have balanced some this year. Not so much now, though.

Oh well, our 2021 schedule is even easier. We have one road game against a program with a pulse next year.

You're right. We're talking about our schedule last year which was incredibly challenging and the nice balance of an easier schedule this year. But what we really should be taking about is how LSU got the short end of the stick here. Going up against powerhouses like Vandy and Mizzou.

The scheduling system is broken when they have to bend over backward to give teams easier or harder games to balance it out. LSU has been talking about this for years where have y’all been?

Talking about it or crying you have to play big bad Florida every year?

None of it matters tbh. I still don’t think a single game gets played this fall.

Deflect deflect deflect

Balanced scheduling just means balanced scheduling. How is that even remotely controversial?

Who should our permanent opponent be? Who should yours be?

There shouldn’t be permanent opponents. I would have 1 cross divisional game be against the team who finished the same as you in the other division the previous year and the other (or others if we went to 9) be either a set rotation or some form of weighted SOS to try to balance everyone’s schedules out the best as can be.

If by “talking about it” you mean bleeding about having to play Florida every year sure.
