When someone said Brian Hartline, I was thinking Bryan Harsin. I was about to ask what y'all were smoking.

We are in big trouble if Colorado pulls his funding

Again

I was against Fisher and hated the hire but once he was here wanted him to win

I’ll do the same and support whoever they get

Just want the kids to win and win big

I know more than a half dozen people that will pull their funding. Not just me. I think that is a very small sample.

If you want an idea how unpopular of a hire Traylor could be with the fans, take a gander at TexAgs. TA is a sewer, but also a good slice of the fanbase.

I’m in the same boat. Glad we made the move off Fisher, it was time. I’ve enjoy led the coaching search and the rumors and all the conversation around the job. But at the end of the day no matter who we hire they get a clean slate with me. I’ll 100% support and cheer the boys on and give the new HC sometime to adjust

So Liucci released his list. Some surprising names on it. That POS Traylor is probably going to be one of the finalists. My guess is that he IS the finalist (Liucci has been trying desperately to shine that turd), and we lose the majority of the recruiting class and half of the roster as well as a result.

Honestly should just promote ERob over Traylor any day of the week.

Two names I'm hoping get serious consideration are Smith and Fisch. Both are excellent coaches at places that cannot possibly compete against A&M if we want them.

Ryan Day rumors really picking up steam. Starting to filter their way onto even the OSU boards.

If Robinson is willing to accept a contract with a small buyout, I'd take him over Traylor. The pieces are there for him to allow Petrino and Durkin to succeed. I want to see what an unleashed offense can do without Jimbo dictating it. As long as he fires Adazzio, I'm all in for giving him a fair shot as a CEO coach.

With Traylor, we'd essentially be starting all over and most of our players would leave. Traylor would be a hire meant to appease those overrated divas at the THSCA. frick them and the high horse they ride in. Texas HS Football is overrated because of them.

That's probably his agent releasing unsubstantiated rumors.

I’m sure his agent did. It’s difficult to differentiate right now between people who see us as a golden opportunity to get a raise and those who have legitimate interest. I’m sure there’s a feeding frenzy from the several coaching agents who control the market on the back of what we paid to buyout Jimbo. Right now I put little stock in anyone being willing to call their employer’s bluff. Only people who know the inner workings of those athletic departments can know that and they’re obviously not going to leak it out

Day is under tremendous pressure at tOSU. There is talk of firing him if he loses to Michigan this year. Freeman doesn't get any support at ND. Dabo is being crucified by the Clemson fans for a down year. There are quite a few "names" unhappy with their situation.

Like I said before, I've been watching a lot of teams besides A&M this year, and one of my favorites is Fisch at Arizona.

Fisch can really coach. The great unknown to me with guys like Fisch, Leipold, Klieman (who all appear to be serious candidates) is how they recruit. That’s why you interview them, feel out what their staff would look like, and actually vet and interview them, which we’ve never done and why I’m cautiously optimistic about this. I think all those guys are good gameday coaches. Can they manage a bigger program and recruit at the requisite level to contend nationally? I have no idea

I was reading about the THSCA, and they do sound like some over privileged counts. No P5 HC owes you anything so to be butt hurt about someone not showing up once seems a little privileged to me

I don’t think the recruiting issue is that big of a factor. At least not to the point everyone is making it out to be. Go show results on the field and recruiting will handle itself with our NIL, fan base, facilities etc
You can’t be a horrible recruiter obviously but you don’t have to be a car sales to do well here. On field results will
Make up for a lot of issues imo

TexAgs was openly rooting against UTSA. The donations will be in the toilet if Traylor is the pick. I really wish the boosters would stay out of this but that isn’t going to happen.

Get used to seeing the sip because he is the next coach
