A source within the organization said that Manziel will get a package for Thursday’s game, enough to give him a feel for what meaningful games are like for a quarterback. It’s what many expected out of Thursday’s game, given the tone of the team’s introductory press conference with the former Heisman winner on Monday.

It was weak sauce to act like he was going to play and then not play him at all in a blowout. I understand that just 4 days and a couple practices is not enough to learn an offense but why even say there was a package for him then? (well to put butts in seats I'm sure but still...)

Listened to Comeback Season in the way home last night, Johnny without explicitly saying it said he wasn’t going to play last night.
