Why does the ad dislike tarp?
Also man if we get muschamp and spav can somehow understand how bad he messed up this year and fix it we could do some real damage next year

he doesn't follow the rules.
There are basic media rules they are given about what info and when they can release. Tarp has openly thumbed his nose at this. When he gets info, he releases it. And it's created an adversarial relationship which has led to Tarp being super-negative at times towards our AD (essentially burning the bridge)
The way the AD enforces this is thru credentials, access, etc. 247 is not credentialed and they don't ask for access. They are the very definition of outsiders. It allows them to say what they want when they want but it also means they never have access through official channels (and they miss some obvious shite because of it). It's a trade off they feel is worth it.
This is why they posted the Speedy injury info. Or the practice reports. Both were expressly against Sumlin's wishes.

IMO it's good to have a source not aligned with the AD because Liucci can be a mouthpiece at times. And 247 often has the jump on him with recruits. However I think in the case of a coaching search 247 is at a disadvantage, because where else can you get info? The players don't know shite. Maybe if the candidate is coming from a school whose 247 affiliate is plugged in?

There is a what-if.

At this point, I'd have preferred keep Snyder over Spavital.

I think this actually is a big deal for 247.
Gigem247 gets info from BMAs, just like all the other services. The biggest advantage 247 has, imo, is that all the team sites are readable by all subscribers, not just the subscribers to individual sites. So you don't just get the story from the A&M side on, say, Brent Venables. You also can follow along with what the Clemson mods are telling their own subscribers. This policy has seemed to foster quite a bit of cooperation among the various team sites, w/ mods of different sites frequently comparing notes. Because when the UTx site says they feel good about getting Malik Jefferson, all the Aggies ask Taylor if there's any substance to the claim (and vice versa). The openness of the network essentially forces team mods to be more aware of what sources from other teams are saying.
