What a long day. Wake up at 5:55am for a 2:30 game!

I told my fiance as we were leaving the game. "I think this is the first time I've ever left Kyle Field smiling after a loss.

If you came into this season with no expectations, you don't get worked up over something like today.

We all knew we had question marks at QB and Oline. Most of us even said, 2022 wouldn't be the year, but 2023 would.

Take a chill pill. We get to play spoiler now with a bunch of freshmen.

I still say, without Foster the offense is going to struggle. Everything from the run, to the passing game starts with him. Plus, he's damn good at what he does.

I hears Kerr get his named called out twice for tackles. I figured he would be redshirting this year! He graduated from Lexington which is where I graduated from. Very small town.

It will be interesting to see how we come out next week for Miami for a 8pm KO

A team with the composite 4th or 5th most talent on the roster shouldn’t be playing spoiler, they should be competing for championships….

If we had 1 or 2 good classes in last 4 years perhaps….

This roster is made up of 4 top 10 classes I think. This includes a #6 class. We got problems that another year ain’t about to fix.

year 5 of the $100m man and you're talking about playing spoiler w/a bunch of freshman?

Yet again we are left with the lame "Well we knew it wasn't this year but NEXT YEAR!!!" mantra.

Then why was everyone other than Desmomd Howard saying this wasn't our year?

Just to be clear, to say there should be no expectations for year 5 of a coach getting $100 million guaranteed is to say you think that coach kind of sucks and should be fired. Period. Full stop.

Is that what you are saying?

It is what it is. The "talent" is mostly freshmen and redshirt freshmen. Hopefully this team can win eight this year, and next year is do or die for Fisher and his staff. I wish we'd just say screw it and play Weigman because the season is shot. But that isn't Fisher's style

Have to agree with RC. Sure nobody expected to win the SEC this year, but to say "with no expectations this year" is shortsighted. I EXPECTED to see a decently competitive team win 8 or 9 games and hopefully finish the season ranked, and I'd hope yall had some sort of baseline expectations too.

And I dont buy the 2023 is the year, getting tired of hearing about next year. Its always next year, then we find some reason its the year after that. How about changing a culture to expecting THIS year? That's what Jimbo was supposed to come in and do, change the culture. Remember "it aint like it used to be line"....

With the advent of the transfer portal, the words "next year" should not be in anyone's vocabulary

0-0 in Conference play and the season is shot? Are you freaking kidding me? At least wait until we drop a conf game before you dive off that cliff

People say "next year" when the season unfolds and it's obvious they won't compete for any TITLES

BEFORE this season even started, essentially everyone was saying, 2023 would be our year. I was absolutely included into that.

The rest of the pot bangers were too, they just love misery

Meanwhile, I have tickets for Miami. I'll be traveling to Dallas, Mississippi, and probably Mich for our bye week to see them play Penn St.

My season is in good hands.
