thru the grapevine and I'd take it as gospel. Les is going to announce he's stepping down for "health" reasons (remember the coffee incident?).

Kevin Steele will be interim for the bowl and officially get an interview. Not a front runner but a sneaky pick that several are backing. Kiffin is the most likely though

They really could not be this generous could they? That would be the gift that keeps giving for quite some time.

shite, we about to save Les Miles' job and make Leonard Fournette the Heisman front runner again. Win or lose, Aggies win.

“Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated,” Miles said Monday night, altering a famous quote from author Mark Twain. “I can tell you that I did in fact have too much coffee to drink today, and I certainly did not feel real great about that.”

After Miles told head trainer Jack Marucci Monday morning that he had a headache and was feeling a bit nauseated, Marucci told him to get checked out. Miles drove to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, according to LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette, and was fine. He missed his 12:30 p.m. press conference to discuss the 2015 season opener against McNeese State in Tiger Stadium, but he was back at work at 2:15 p.m. and went through a 4 p.m. practice.

“I had a very quality medical staff that decided I should go get some examination and testing,” Miles said. “They did a great job and took care of me, and I appreciate it very much. And now I just want everybody to know that everything’s fine, and we’re ready to roll.”

Normally I might make a sarcastic joke but last Friday I had to have EMTs come check me out at work and then go to the doctor to get checked out. My vision went blurry, I got incredibly dizzy, started stumbling around and slurring my speech, was caught by a co-worker as I was collapsing near the stairs, and then puked all over the floor. I thought I was having a stroke and was about to die.

Turns out it was a mix of being extremely dehydrated and I had just caught the flu. That combined with staying up too late the last few days and only having a giant cup of coffee that morning was the cause according to the doctors.

I'm guessing Les might have initially thought he was having a heart attack. After what I went through I'll never make fun of something like that again b/c it's scary as frick when its happening to you.

I'll be at the game! Tickets should be ridiculous cheap Saturday. Should be able to get into the lower bowl for $20 again.

u lucky

I have to be a damn wedding.

Even worse, the bride and groom are Aggies and the groom's father is a huge LSU fan. Neither of men are happy about the situation and the bride is having a fit about them wanting a TV w/the game on at the reception.

Extremely poor planning. Spring is for weddings, not football season.

my guy is saying Steele will get a long look, don't want to turn over a whole staff that's essentially a who's who of recruiters.

Tell him to call it off now and save the hassle of a divorce.

I'm going to the game as well. Weather forecast is looking better than it did a couple days ago. Hopefully, the weather won't be miserable like the last time we played in BR.

Kiffin worked with Steele at Bama and orgeron at USC as well, so that's another way the recruiting staff stays together.

That still has train wreck written all over it. Especially if Steele is retained. In all of his stops his best defenses are his first year defenses.
