We had 56 yards rushing on 21 attempts. That blows donkey arse. That problem reared its head in our season opener. We have a week offense of line.

Auburn was able to run all over us apparently. They had almost 200 yards rushing and only 100 yards passing, explain that to me.

A&M fans take more Ls than any fanbase I've ever seen. It's in our blood.

And, it's can only be a result of poor OL performance, with no run game.

1st Q:
1. 12 plays, 44 yards - Missed Field Goal
9 yards of 5 rush attempts

2. 3 plays, -6 yards - punt
2 yards on 2 rush attempts

2nd Q:
1. 6 plays, 64 yards - FG
18 yards on 2 rush attempts (one was Mond for 17 yards)

2. 8 plays, 20 yards - punt
3 yards on 3 rush attempts

3. 3 plays, -6 yards - punt (again)
0 yards on 1 rush attempt (-5 for Mond sack)

3rd Q:
1. 1 play, 13 yards - fumble
13 yards on 1 rush attempt (fumble)

2. 3 plays, 2 yards - punt
2 net yards on 3 rush attempts (two sacks for 5 yards, 2 5-yard penalties, and one 22 yard run)

3. 3 plays, -9 yards - punt
1 yard on 1 rush attempt (2 5-yard penalties before the punt)

4. 8 plays, 85 yards - touchdown
1 yard on 1 rush attempt (completed in the 4th Q)

4th Q:
1. 11 plays, 69 yards - field goal
1 yard on 1 rush attempt

2. 8 plays, 81 yards - touchdown
0 yards on 0 rush attempts

So, anytime we attempted to run the ball, it got stuffed, much like what we saw v. Texas State.

We have no running game. We will lose no less than 5 games, GUARANTEED unless we ditch the run altogether.

DITCH THE frickING RUN GAME!!!

You have to mean Clemson, we had almost 250 yards rushing, at 6.8 YPC, and didn't allow one negative play vs Texas State.

Go watch the 1st Q of the Texas State game, particularly the 2nd drive. 3 attempts for 1 yard.

It will look familiar.

Absolutely agree with ditching the running game. Was obvious during the game that we should have given up on trying to run the ball early in the 2nd Q. No one was playing "honest" because of the run threat. Mond had 1/2 the total running yards. If not for sacks he probably had double what our RBs had.

We suck at run blocking type of shite.

If the run is getting stuffed by midway through the 2nd, it means they are selling out to stop it. A halftime adjustment should be HUNH (which Mond can do) with zero run plays until they quit selling out in disguised coverage.

It was questionable coaching and game strategy, but all will be forgiven if it doesn't happen again.
