For what? I'm not going to badmouth a sitting President, especially one as petty as Obama was, while still in uniform.

Seems like it fits Obamas normal moves. Didn't other people get tapped? He used the IRS to target opponents. Dude didn't care for the law, just advancing his agenda.

This, Obama saw himself as above the law, no different than Hillary

It was a little joke, but to know he was slime? I'm not saying you needed to badmouth anyone, but to me once you he became a real presidential candidate and information about him came out then it was clear the dude wanted to basically harm what America represented.

During the Obama presidential campaign (2007-2008), I was living in the Chicago area and saw firsthand how filthy and corrupt the politicians in that part of the country are.

Once I saw that President Obama filled his cabinet with the Bill Daleys, Rahm Emmanuels, and Valerie Jarrets of the world, I knew his true colors. Not to mention his first secretary of state...

I am guessing there's some out where campus PD can shut something down if they feel it presents a legitimate safety concern. And it's a pretty easy argument to make when the organization makes this their headline

I'm guessing that having a big rally in the middle of the fall semester would make the campus unnavigable for most of that day

I think the rule they created is that there has to be an on-campus sponsor. I have no problem with that. The campus doesn't need to be a staging ground for outside groups looking for attention.

I really wish the university could say "because they're fricking Nazis" as a good reason, but I'm extremely relieved nobody actually sponsored this imbecile. If he and his imbred army of redneck dickheads showed up to A&M I would fly down there to help shout them down.

And that's probably going to be our defense in court because these weirdos love to go the Westboro Baptist Church route. I believe they managed to get $29k off of Auburn after they cancelled an event with Richard Spencer.

If the university ends up having to pay, I hope they find a way to pay the frickers in nothing but pennies.

See this is a slippery slope. You have universities banning people guys like Ben Shapiro and grouping them with guys like Preston Wiginton. That is complete nonsense.

This is correct, as far as what I've heard about needing a sponsor. As to why they can't shut it down just because: well you said it yourself, it's a public space and the university is a public institution of higher learning.....No matter how much you disagree with what's being said, people have a right to free speech.

As someone who disagrees with their retoric, I do wish they would quit using our university as their publicity platform to get media attention. hopefully blm or whatever keeps their organizations off the campus as well, we don't need any of that junk on campus where students main job is to get an education.

I believe in a nearly absolute right to free speech, as long people are not interfering with normal people's right to get to class or study.

maybe universities need to stop letting people from off campus do anything on campus.

i absolutely hate Spencer and everything about his rhetoric, but i'll give his side this, they are not at every single event from a conflicting view's event raising hell and shutting it down. it seems like any of the violence the last few years seems like it's one side showing up and causing a ruckus at the other side's events/protests/etc.

it's not like a fight just breaks out randomly between two opposing views on a Tuesday afternoon.

Amazon is listening.

But on a serious note, I unplugged mine and threw it in the closet. It would always randomly turn on and that freaked the shite out of me.

Those frickers at amazon canceled all the orders. Apparently, it was some glitch.
