Kasich is fine but he's about the equivalent of Romney. Nice guy who will let Hillary bulldoze him from July - November without a peep.

I'm not happy with Trump but I choose the guy who at least has the semblance of balls to call out the other side who wants me to feel guilty for being somewhat wealthy and white.

I say this as a happy Cruz voter who will go Trump if it comes to that.

As a Democrat-leaning independent (i.e. Moderate) Kasich is the only person I would vote for (in fact he's my no. 1 choice out of everybody) currently running in the clown show that is the Republican presidential primary.

For everybody who thinks that he is basically Romney and he would get run over by Hilary in the gensral election, I just want to say one thing. The difference between Kasich and Romney is that Romney was afraid to run on his record as Massachusetts governor and that turned a lot of people off. Romney pretended to be someone that he wasn't and it but him in the arse, whereas Kasich is proud of what he has done and for better or worse, is willing to run on his record.

If you want to stop Hilary from being president, you don't elect people as toxic as Drumpf or Cruz, you elect people who can win over the middle like Kasich.

Kasich and I don't agree on a ton. More than I do with Hillary or Bernie, granted. Why would I vote for him when Cruz agrees with a ton more of my points and views?

We tried nice moderate guy with McCain and Romney.

Turns out it sucks and didn't go well.

FTR: I'm a Paul guy. He wanted to leave me the eff alone. But at least Cruz gives a shite about the 10th amendment.

They both epically failed for specific reasons

McCain failed because he had the unfortunate honor of following Bush and he thought someone like Palin could help get him elected.

Romney failed because he backed tracked from everything he did as Massachusetts governor because he knew the far right wing of the Republican Party would rip him a new one if he hadn't.

Also, how can you be a Rand Paul guy yet agree with most everything Cruz says when they are complete opposite ends of the conservative spectrum?

2008, the country was tired of war. We nominated a super hawk in McCain.

2012, the country was livid with Obamacare. We nominated the godfather of Obamacare Romney.

2016, the electorate is just plain angry... and you want us to nominate the guy who just wants to hug it out?

Kasich isn't happening. He just isn't.

Exactly how are they at opposite ends of the conservative spectrum?

I don't find that they are. Cruz lets his religion flag fly a little higher but their voting records are similar I'm pretty sure.

The big difference is foreign policy. While I love Paul's more isolationistic stance, it's not practical.

That isn't remotely true. They both believe in the constitution.

Drumph wins KY & LA in some what close affairs.

Cruz will likely end up with about 14 more delegates today. This is the first day since Iowa Drumph didn't win the day.
