I really try to not take recruiting seriously because it is 18 year old kids but frick that guy and frick Venables for putting him up to it even if we hire him.
I was so glad when we beat them that year.

Corey Nelson flipping was the last time I followed recruiting closely. I decided it wasn't worth it after that.

I took a step back after a story on signing day involving Jarret Fobbs.
rumor was he has 2 signed LOIs, 1 for A&M and 1 for LSU. faxed both at the same time on separate fax machines and pressed stop on the A&M one halfway through.
He ended up being a bust. At the time though, I said this recruiting bullshite isn't worth it.

I'm thinking none of these hacks know a damn thing. And why would they? It's a new regime and the boosters are desperate to play along with Jimbo in order to have a winning program. Unfortunately, none of the hacks at TexAgs, 247, or Taylor Hamm's super-duper Facebook group will ever admit that. They'll just give you obscure clues in order to make you believe they know something.

What is it he's doing that you object to? Serious question. I'm not a huge fan and laugh out loud every time he says, "As I've said all along...", but in this case I don't see what he could do differently unless it is to lie and say he has no idea.

I don't see how that could possibly work with paid subscribers. My take on his DC posts so far is, "I know something, but I can't say what or it might screw the deal and will certainly put an end to our access." And I don't have a problem with that.
