They would have been better off entering the portal.

Rogers

Interesting player. Had great moments and great catches but they were few and far between. I don't know why he didn't realize his potential.

Was it? Or do some people just want to move on?

Both players would be in the way of better and higher performing talent on the 2020 roster.

Maybe, but that doesn’t mean they were pushed out. You seem to be making a bigger big assumption here.

Always thought Davis, Rogers and Renfro would be UDFAs. At least they now get to pick where they go.

Interestingly, Tyrie Cleveland was picked late in the 7th

Agreed, dude showed flashes of being an awesome player at times, but just never did it consistently.

Wide receiver Quartney Davis, who was expected by many to be drafted sometime Saturday, found himself in pretty significant demand as an undrafted free agent. At one point, Davis appeared to be heading to Dallas to join the Cowboys, but the Minnesota Vikings swooped in and made Davis a significant offer for a free agent: $100,000 guaranteed, including a $10,000 signing bonus. That was enough for Davis to head to Minnesota.

Had Davis signed with Dallas, he would have remained teammates with fellow wideout Kendrick Rogers, who signed with the Cowboys shortly after the draft.

Cornerback Debione Renfro signed with the Seattle Seahawks, who intend to try Renfro at safety.
