Makes CFB feel pretty pointless until Saban retires. They are unbeatable when they don't frick up.

Pretty much. They're a ridiculously good program.

Bama is beatable but you have to spread them out and attack their secondary (this merely makes them beatable, it doesn't mean that it's easy). Running right at them and playing Saban's game like Michigan State did is hopeless. With the exception of a couple games against LSU that are years in the rear view, they always, always win that match-up.

Clemson is about as bad a match-up for Alabama as there is in CFB this year. An up-tempo spread offense with a very good dual threat qb. I still expect Alabama to win though.

Yes, Alabama is a pretty good team. But Spavital put 23 up on the scoreboard against them. That would make him a God among men in the Big10, I guess.

They are beatable.

We may just have to wait for them to lose a certain coach again or for them to go on probation again.
