Apparently Hubenak has a shoulder injury and is "day to day" from watching the news conference.
Knight claims there's a chance he plays.
What are the odds Starkel gets some significant time?
Hopefully Armani is healthy and can play this week

LSU's leading tackler, LB Kendall Beckwith is out for the game Thursday. Their best DL, Arden Key could be limited as well.

So Trayveon went out only as a precaution vs UTSA?

I fully expect Key to be back, he wasn't even mentioned in the injury report. I'm not sure what will happen with Fournette, I'm really just done with this season.

I hope those odds are small. I'd hate to see his shirt burned just for one game.

They held a few guys out this week that definitely could have played.
The UTSA game was mostly about getting thru it without more injuries and not much else. Combined with the short turn around, we really were trying to play as conservative a game as possible to keep the snap counts low.
Thought some of the young guys impressed (Oliver, Pryor in particular) and some showed why they don't play more (Bussey really stands out to me). But it's good experience for them to get real first team action.

Obviously still not ideal, but thats encouraging to read. I was working the whole day and just saw the box score.

That attempt on a block on the last drive was noticeably bad.

yeah, he's looked pretty good to me in garbage time when he's had the ball and I've been wondering why he doesn't play more - maybe a series here or there seems appropriate.
But then I saw that ole block (really two plays in a row). He's not a big guy so I'm sure that isn't easy but that's how you get the one QB left on your roster killed

yeah, they weren't as unhappy with it as the fans. It's just that time of year. I think #96 played the most snaps at DT. If anyone can name him without looking at the roster you're probably related to him
If you didn't watch the game, UTSA was targeting Hubes (they actually had a player ejected like the 2nd series for it) and I'm quite sure the entire sidelines buttcheeks clinched each time he got hit.
Speaking of injuries though, I found it interesting that when London went down, we brought in Austin Anderson at RG. It seems pretty clear the plan was Prater was going to get a half at RT and Martin was going to get a half. And Sutherland played both RG and LG.
Stuff like that really indicates how the game was treated. We needed to get guys some film and make decisions for what the best look is this week.

TK is starting
That completely changes LSU's gameplan with his running ability.
I've always wondered why these announcements come out the day before a game. Why not tell everyone Hubenak is starting and then just put in Knight at kickoff
