Deep in the heart is shite the Longhorns would play along with cow moos in the Mack era.

We need Texas country if we are going to do it, not country country.

I mean, even the title of the song is perfect.

Yeah I like it. When it first came on I thought it was lame. But people had fun with it. That's the point. It's fun.

339. I like the corners. Great view of half the game. Tickets were like $225 with fees.

This. Honestly the music choices that we've ended up with this season are excellent.

"Power" is becoming known around the country as our entrance. Love how the crowd gets into it and that we still have the drum cadence before it. It's perfect. Just wish we'd run out with the Texas flag.

"If you're gonna play in Texas" is fun and applicable given that we're the lone Texan SEC school.

Childish Gambino's "Bonfire" for 2nd half entrance. LOVE it. Can't play the lyrics obviously but those who know the song will instantly understand the connection. And if not, it's still badass

It would make a lot of older people uncomfortable, that's for sure .

Am I the only one who noticed the band played at half time and that was it?

Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t hear the band play during timeouts or TV time AT ALL.

I love Noble Men of Kyle. I’ll miss it if they don’t play it.

I love the song (If You're Gonna Play in Texas), and I have loved the group since I first heard "My Home's in Alabama" in early 1980.

But (playing in the SEC against the Tide) do we really want our signature song to be one written by a big-time UA fan and performed by a group all born and raised in Alabama?

We need a Texas Country song.

I would say "Luckenbach," but it is not up-tempo enough.

Maybe "God Blessed Texas" by Little Texas?

Even better? "Miles and Miles of Texas" by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.

As was I.....and I was sitting next to the youth pastor for my church who'd never been to an Aggie game before

He promptly got up....and went and bought him an A&M shirt from the gift shop in the NEZ. I'm not even fricking with you

And if we're talking this year's Bama game, the game is in Alabama. So to me it doesn't make a lot of sense.

RWH's "Screw You, We're From Texas" is just about the perfect Texas song, but somehow I don't see it being approved.

Is it because he was born in Oklahoma? Or because "Screw You" is the exact opposite of "Howdy"?

I say play it. Being nice has never gotten us anywhere.
