...but I want to thank all you other ags (especially tmc, wca, roger, and kaiser) for either providing info or saying something amusing (especially kaiser). I'm thanking y'all in celebration of my 250th post. I don't normally have time in the day to post often, but thanks for providing an interesting quick read. Thank you all and GigEm.

Same here. I just joined but this entire site is more entertaining/informative than that other site ran by chin-pubes.

Can someone direct me to a link or tell me how the AggyArk name came to fruition?

Kind of the culmination of a couple of puns:

--one of my nicknames for myself is "#NOAH" ("_igg*r On A Horse," a line from the Django Unchained movie), and of course where there is a Noah, there's gotta be an Ark

--The TexAgs football board is known as the "zoo," so the Ark has kinda been a rescue of sorts for those posters who're disenchanted with the zookeepers

Idk when I first coined it, but it kinda took off on its own.

ETA: And welcome to the board!!! Hope to see ya around more often, gb

Now thats a better story and nickname than the "zoo"

Tbird, this may surprise you but we've actually met before. We took a political science course together at Blocker with that crazy professor who was from Chicago. Can't remember his name except for the fact that he loved the Chicago Bears and Krispy Kreame. The dude literally made us sing the Bears song once for extra credit. You obviously never really cared much for hiding your identity from ****** as I was able to recognize you when you posted a picture of yourself once. If it helps you remember, I am Hispanic, dark male.

Oh yeah I remember that dude!!! Funny as hell--I actually remember him more for always wearing Fighting Illini gear, but that extra credit singalong was probably the most bizarre (and fun) in-class experience I had @ TAMU. I remember him waving his arms in front of the class like he was a conductor

Vaguely remember your face, but not your name. Are we fb friends? Not trying to be creepy, but yeah I'm just still terrible with names
