The path to salvaging what could have been a disaster of a year with respect to recruiting and momentum is clear now. Our line is better in every way with Johnson on the bench, Green at tackle and Aki or Trainor at guard. And if we can maximize our line, we have two all conference caliber players to hand the ball to.

Beat the shite out of USC next week, get healthy during the bye and then run the goddamn ball 40+ times a game. That SHOULD be enough to get to 9-3 and what could have been a disaster is a chance to win 10 games come bowl season.

Johnson is terrible, but we don't have to worry about him next year. It also shows transfers they will get a shot at playing

And agree - have to keep running the ball!

Was he bad at TN? The portal has the benefit of having more history against good competition than recruiting does. If he was bad, it makes you wonder why we took him for anything other than depth. If he wasnt, then why did he end up that way?

Maybe just luck. Maybe he ate some bad sushi and hasnt gotten it out of his system. I dont know.

I'll trust Jimbo/Henson on it. That said I am pumped about Moko for next year after seeing some of the film. He did evil things to the DL he was on in limited play time. It was almost like he was a straight up bully and the kid wanted to be left alone. He is also a really big human.
