Until this year I didn’t think he was worth a shite but boy did he prove me wrong

Drafted him out of high school when his brother Preston (U of Florida) was playing for the Astros. Kyle pounded it in Triple A. Remember, Bremen started slow also. It’s just taken Kyle longer. Great hopes for next season. Hope they finish the deal this season to get to playoffs. Gotta be close to the magic number.

Bump - Reddick is so un-clutch.

He went after that fly ball so lazy like, and then let it bounce past him.

Not much to report the past couple of weeks. Now the playoffs. Astros have to be lowest seeded. But my question is: Is Altuve done? What happened to that guy??

Easier to hit when you know the pitch that's coming

Even on the road. But yeah, Altuve got found out.

Yah, I was mainly ribbing the Astros fans, but you're right, if he didn't having glaring home/road splits, this wouldn't account for the severe dropoff

He hit better on the road at least one year. But he may be close to being washed up unless he rejuvenates. He needs to just keep playing winter ball and ball in Venezuela and ball in the back yard or batting cage to perfect his swing. No time for leisure. The off-season layoffs have been devastating on his production the last two years.

1. If ended before last year and he did just fine.
2. It was proven Altuve and Reddick got very very few bangs. They didn’t want to use it.

It is odd to see a player who has been so good for a number of year just fall off a cliff at this age (unless there is an injury), but it wouldn't be the first time it happened. However, he's still in what are normally prime years, so it's hard to imagine he's through.
That said, I watch very few games (the '94 strike killed the fanatic in me), so I know little about his game, but I am rooting he turns it around.

It’s mental. He’s taken the brunt of the hate for cheating in 2017.

Me and a buddy had a conversation about that a few days ago. I think it’s a couple reasons
1) yes the cheating scandal effected him, he was loved by everyone and now everyone outside of Houston hates him
2) it’s only a 60 game season, that’s not a lot of games to get out of a slump and find your swing
3) no fans at home and no fans in general has to be demoralizing. I think one packed crowd at MMP absolutely juices this whole team up

Well I hope his offseason routine is different. From memory I think that the beginnings of the last two seasons perhaps even three have been rough on him. And then he improved to near .300 except this year. As stated, this season's number of games does not allow him to dig out of the slump. And I agree there may be something mental going on. Altuve used to be able to be selective and square up and hit the ball throughout the strike zone. Now they get him to chase.
But Kyle Tucker looks like he's going to pick up the slack for some of the other players.even with his crazy swing.

Well we just swept a team in the playoffs. How’d the rangers do? Oh...

Nothing personal. But obviously you don't have a clue. That's how it works here. You hit reply to someone and then you post. That's all my man!

I don't have a clue? You're right, I don't have a clue why you're asking me about the Rangers or why you chose to reply to my post. Nor do I have a clue why you find satisfaction in attacking others.

You are too sensitive. If you don't like a post either ignore it or berate the poster and then move along. I don't know why I replied to you but if I remember your name I'll try to avoid you. I don't like the Rangers. I am an Astros fan and this is a post about the Astros who are 4-0 in playoffs this year. They've gotten their arse kicked this year by the Athletics and they torched them today in case you don't know.
No attack man, it's all good.
