If Young is leaving the Perry thing makes sense and I could see how it would be related to Woodward. I am scared for our university in a larger sense if all that comes to pass

The one positive about Perry is that he loves A&M. I think his moves would at least be rooted in trying to do what he thinks is best for A&M.

So, does anybody have a "way too early" list of possible AD replacements for Mr. Scott Woodward? Or any names that you'd like to see mentioned?

I wouldn’t mind stealing Bama’s.

That's practically what Sharp has been doing this entire time. And he was entrusted by Perry to do it.

Do. Not. Want.

I would love to see the CG melt if another Byrne headed up the AD.

You really think Greg Byrne will work for the man who forced his Dad out?

Have another pat on the head?

I think there is more truth to the "throw enough money at a person and they'll come aboard" comment attributed to Sharp than some here care to admit.

That said, I don't think we need to break the bank for a new AD if our modus operandi for athletics continues to be the money whip method and I don't think we need to steal another SEC AD to have continued success.

Would most here even know the name of the Alabama AD offhand if he wasn't the son of our former AD? I doubt it.

If enough word gets around about Sharp's frickery I don't think any amount of money would be enough to get who we need.

Money fixes a lot of problems. Don't be like the LSU fans that are convinced that Jimbo will take a pay cut just to have a better job.

I’m not sure how realistic it is but what would people think of Justin Moore as AD? Doesn’t have the pedigree an outside hire would have but he knows Jimbo (and Jimbo seems to like him) and he’s a football guy with facilities experience. I honestly wouldn’t be that upset at this

It would be a big jump up though and he has zero experience as an AD

Yeah I remember Buzz giving him a shout out in his presser. Does he still support football in his current role at all? If not maybe him and Jimbo aren’t that familiar but the football background can’t hurt

his website bio still says he works in football admin so maybe? for me i want fit and frankly i want the current administration to actively work with jimbo on finding a new AD. if hes worked with justin and likes him, then im fine with it. if not, we should go find someone who he has worked with in the past and respects

Yes, because clearly we want someone tied to the Miami scandal a few years ago (Frank Haith ring a bell?)
