Not surprised. Hotels were expensive when I checked a month ago.

But I’m gonna get me a springer bobble head

Spring game was unusually entertaining. Sternberger and Ausbon are gonna be monsters.

Sternberger isn't quite at Gronkowski level yet, but he's definitely a big help.

I’m hoping sec network will replay it this week

The game format was so much better than years past. It was fun watching the teams play out the final 5 minutes of a close game as if it were real.

If Starkel gets to Joe Montana level this year then we will really have something IMO FWIW

Big fat frick big sexy had a perfect game going in the 8th. A walk and double ruined the perfect game and no no. Now pineapple is trying to ruin the shutout.

Hubenak posted a long piece on the 2015 QB situation on premium, interesting read.
In summary: the coaches did not say shite to either QB or the QB group as a whole when they were constantly rotating them. They just told them who was going in and acted like nothing weird was going on. Pretty spineless and obviously supports the idea that “promises we’re made” during recruitments

Yep, just had someone forward that on to me and read it as well.
Absolutely ridiculous that they were handled that way, can’t beleive we paid the head coach 5 million and spavital however many hundreds of thousands and a little league pee-wee coach could’ve handle the situation better.
I can’t say I predicted it during the 2015 season, but it was very obvious after the bowl season that Sumlin and Co were in way over their heads. Wanted him gone in 16 and for sure in 17. Glad he’s gone now, even if Jimbo isn’t the answer.

This may not be the thread for this but, what happened to Connor Blumrick from Pearland HS? Didn't he redshirt last year? I haven't seen him mentioned in QB discussions.

I would say he is 3rd string, he played in the Spring game, and was a one point playing for both teams. He still looked raw, but I think he had all the physical skills to be a good QB.

Maybe without Sumlin there to ruin him he'll turn out to be something.

For those that don’t know, both Barbara’s and HW’s plots are in a small private area behind the Bush School on campus, not sure if there will be a ceremony or what.

Sad news, she was such a nice lady. I met her and daddy Bush at Big Event back in 2009. Never would have dreamed then that she would go first.

Same. She was known to tend to her garden and was unafraid to tell students if they weren't dressed up to par (the Bush School encourages business casual at a minimum
I was also extremely lucky, when I went there W published a book about HW. HW, W, and Barb. were all there and Barb was still sharp as a tack, correcting W on jokes and what not.
HW, often with Barb., made at least one annual trip to CStat to take a class photo with the graduating class. I was lucky in that I was a part of the last class that had them attend (HW was too sick the last time or two).

That means 41 won't be far behind.
In most cases, when a couple has been together that long, if the wife goes first, the husband tends to lose the will to live and his body just shuts down in response.
