Martin's isn't bad. I do drive over to Lexington on Saturday mornings a lot, good q there.

I’ve had Snow’s twice, but not in a few years so I’m looking to get back out there soon. For a short drive, Truth BBQ down in Brenham is fantastic. You’ll wait in a line (albeit shorter than snows or Franklin’s) but it is awesome, it’s easily a top 5 place for me and up there with Franklin’s, snows, etc. great sides and homemade dessert too.

I don’t know, I’ve never eaten at Coopers but I’ve heard similar. Have some family in Independence and they absolutely hated coopers and loved truth...maybe some off day at coopers or something? They’ve been multiple times and never impressed.
Here’s what my spread looked like the last time I visited truth. So dang good, I was wearing one of their t-shirts today conincidentaly as well. Need to get back down there this summer for round 3.
