I saw the entire game. He's not worth 6 million a year. We can get him for a lot cheaper since I don't think the bidding war will be that high.
Also, that Van Malone defense leaves a lot to be desired. They did their job when it mattered, but for most of the game they reminded me of our 2013-2014 defenses.

I wouldn't rule him out. Winning at SMU is very hard. June Jones may have revived the program, but he left it in shambles on his way out. My only concern with Chad Morris is that defense he is putting out.

Ehh, I doubt Malone is going to continue as CM's DC one he moves to a bigger job. He's there b/c that's what SMU can afford.

I've seen fans of Missouri, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas etc. mentioning him as a candidate. He took over 1-11 and has gone 2-10, 5-7, and he's currently 6-2. He was the consensus best OC in America. His offense can coexist with a great defense, and win championships. He's won everywhere he's been and he's a Legend in Texas hsfb.
If he's our floor for candidates, I'm very optimistic about our next hire.
