Thank God that I only had the "pleasure" of watching two of the Fran years. I can't imagine being subjected to all four years of him.

The people like you who were in school exclusively for Fran should get a ring along with the team when we win an MNC

True that, but he was a bit before my time.
Chad was a Baller.

So I went and looked at my dad's years at A&M (67-71) and I just now realized how bad the Gene Stallings years were. It almost makes me to never want to complain about the Fran years ever again.
Almost.
Almost.

Fall of 05 to Fall of 09, so I got 5 years of football under my belt:
Players (Not in any order, too hard to rank):
Jorvorskie Lane: How could you not enjoy watching this behemoth running the ball?
Justin Warren: Very cool guy in person and was always good for a good pop or two each game
Jerrod Johnson: Since I was pre-Johnny, got to go with the guy who previously held A&M's passing records
Von Miller: 17 sack season, all that needs to be said
Martellus Bennett: Played b-ball with him at the Rec on several occasions and was always a mismatch out there, just severely under-utilized.
Games (Did games that I attended. A lot tougher, I had some bad years
)
2006 @Texas: Didn't rank these either, but this is by far number 1. Watching us demolish Colt on his home turf...priceless
2007 Vs. Texas: The two long TDs to put the game on ice in the 4th were the loudest I heard Kyle...although it did get interesting
2009 @Texas Tech: Any time you can destroy Texas Tech is a good time...watching it happen in Lubbock makes it that much sweeter
2007 Fresno StateWeathered that god awful heat and was part of something very awesome in walking across the stands for each overtime.
2006 @Baylor: Watching my boy Money B have the best game of his career

If we had Tellus in our current offense, dear lord. Scary stuff.

And I know fans hated Fran, but man, he HATED Fran. He would always mimic him when we were playing b-ball at the Rec and someone did something wrong
