It’s kind of been that way all season tho. There’s 2-4 reliable ish arms and everyone else is just a hope and a prayer. There’s been moments or flashes of decent pitching but overall this season we’ve been well below average

Think State had 7 innings where lead off batter got on. Yikes.

Earley deserves a lot of kudos for that series win. No damn arms anywhere in the lineup, and still won. Also, the PH, PR and management at the end of both games this weekend was masterful

He out-skippered O'Conner. Hard to do

Early has absolutely earned his 2027 and I’m optimistic about him long term

I’m willing to admit I was wrong about Earley. And I’m glad to admit it too, I was out on him after last season and even the beginning of this season. But he’s done a fantastic job and has more than earned the right for next season and beyond. Hoping for some super regional baseball in CS this June!

Playing Auburn tonight at Hoover. I haven't heard anything about who is the starting pitcher tonight, or if Partida is starting.

I’m gonna be honest with yall, I don’t want to see anyone significant start. Anyone who’s banged up or a little injured shouldn’t play at all. Get everyone healthy and rested is my opinion

Florida winning 2 and what has happened in other conference tournaments might be making tonight's game a top 8 qualifier....

A&M is not a T8 seed. The pitching is terrible. It looks like for better or worse the plans is to rest up before regionals

Was watching Texags on YouTube yesterday. In one of their "segments" Nuno asked Olin Buchanan what he could "put in the bank" relative to the game. Olin knows of those pitching woes and said as a responsible banker, he could put nothing "in the bank".

I can hardly wait to listen to them Monday or Tuesday.

They were gonna do everything they could to not give us a Top 8 regardless. Resume only matters when they want it to, mind you we beat Florida in Gainesville. But they won’t factor that in I’m sure

We've given the committee all it needs to drop us to 11/12 as far as I'm concerned.

Agree we will end up an 11/12 seed. Honestly, with our pitching, we were not a top 8 seed. Never were.

When bats were red hot they carried us. Not close to red hot for about a month now.

I’m still not upset we didn’t win yesterday. A full week of rest will be really good for us. At least we’ll be hosting a regional, no doubt they’ll have us matched up with the Austin regional.

Lucky to get out of a regional if we are honest.

Given our pitching situation, it's hard to argue that. It's also why I'm willing to roll the dice and go with someone like Powell or Bond as the game 1 starter vs. the 4 seed. An unorthodox approach might well be needed this weekend to give us a chance to advance.
