I want to be optimistic lol
It takes one game to snap them back into shape. I hope that’s the case but I doubt it

Austin news this morning was the highlight of Texas A&M’s “rival” Corpus Christi plays tough but would go on to lose the game

Bama’s coach may be worth a look this offseason.
If by some miracle Earley and the boys can pull out this series this weekend, I mean, I don’t even know

Wasn't he one of the people on the radar last year? Think it was a huge mistake not getting a proven(ish) guy.

They took a gamble to keep the roster together and it didn’t pay off. I’m not too terribly mad at it but we gotta accept it didn’t pay off. At some point it’s time to pull the trigger on Earley. And when they do you gotta go get proven, legit top tier HC. No player friendly guy. You’re gonna lose players in the portal but so what. Go get a proven guy

This should have been the attitude in June. I don't think our leaders had it in them to oversee a rational search. Got our hearts broke and then acted scared

Easier said than done. Being that close to winning it all. Really really really close. Getting stabbed in the back as it was happening. Realizing the nucleus that could come back. I understand the decision that was made at the time. I understand the blowback if the roster had fallen apart if the decision had not been made.
Losses of key players. Injuries. Contentment. Overconfidence.
And the fact that Baseball is a cruel bitch.

I get the mindset behind the Earley hire. It was a gamble and it didn’t pay off. Now, don’t wait 2 more years to pull the trigger. Fire him, let Kelly Interim the rest of the season and go get a proven guy

The ending of tonight’s game. Good lord.

Terrible base running. Sums up the season in one play. 2 steps forward, 8 steps back.
Earleys time is up there’s no coming back

Wondering who they would even go get now for a new HC after this season. Any thoughts board?

Whelp. Just think - only 6 months until we can start being disappointed by our football program.

Every day I inch closer and closer to agreeing with Lobo on everything

Do you potentially go get Nolan Cain? Great recruiter, been around the game a long time. If we can’t land a “high level” target do you try and get him potentially?

I’d much rather go after someone with success as a head coach after this little experiment, even if it’s in mid major type conference
This roster is going to turn over a ton either way I assume

I think (if I’m the AD) you can’t go into this coaching search worried about losing players. You gotta go get a good coach and let him fix/build the roster
