I don't know. I watched the replay, and this team is just on fire right now. Starting pitching is concerning, but the bullpen is coming through at the right time.

Lost Sdao
Lost Montgomery

But at least now we didn't lose Kaeden Kent - was worried about him transferring due to lack of playing time. He's going to be a superstar here. Have to agree it is concerning when a pitcher pulls himself. But what a performance from the bullpen. This team has a ton of fight, and is pulling together at the right time

Florida will be an incredibly tough game.

My pops has decided he’s going to head up to Omaha, and stay as long as the ags are still alive. Figured I’d hit up the board, before I start googling, and see what the best way is to go about securing tickets. He’s old, and I rarely purchase tickets for anything anymore so I’m not of any real help on that front.

Never been, but I've heard scalping tickets outside the stadium is the most economical way

Are we sure there’s no chance he’ll come back?

Very underrated part of the game in my opinion
... Bottom 4, down 7-4 after scoring 2 in the top half of the inning, and no pitcher of ours can get any rhythm going

Freshman Kaiden Wilson comes in with 2 on and no outs, and immediately hits the guy trying to sacrifice bunt. Now it's loaded bases, no outs, and the 4-5-6 hitters due up. Another hit or two might bury us.

Instead a strike out and 4-6-3 double play and we're out of the inning with no runs scored. Kaiden works thru part of the 6th with the game still on reach and then Olsen Magic in the 7th

Another key play that's quite depressing: Gavin in the 3-hole watching strike 3 with the bases loaded actually being a good thing because it wasn't his 3rd straight GIDP that would have killed the 7th inning 8 runs earlier.

We desperately need him to snap out of the funk he's in, hopefully a change of scenery helps out

I’m wondering this too

Side note: schloss needs to hammer the portal this off-season for pitching. Go get the lefty from ECU

Schloss said he's still being evaluated, so it seems like there's a chance we see him in Omaha

Not pitching, but we landed a grad transfer 1B from Fairfield

No, not at all. I have no knowledge of the actual injury or severity. I meant if we did lose him. Hopefully he comes back.

I just hadn’t read anything about the injury at all so I don’t know if it’s something that he tweaked and just can ice for a few days and give it a go again or if it’s something that shut him down for the entire college World Series

Now’s as good a time as any to break that 85 year drought.

It really is. We have a legit shot. Maybe, for once, the stars will align.

Not Omaha or even 2024 related, but I think we found or 1B next year.
