Not great. I actually really like Leveon Moss, but losing Owens is a big deal. Feel terrible for the kid, hope he bounces back quick

There are some rumors that Bussey is now getting reps at WR/RB now that Owens is injured. That's a positive outcome from this negative situation in my opinion. I see us getting much more out of Bussey's ability in an Ainias Smith-type role as opposed to using him at DB.

I think the one thing that does excite me going into this season is just seeing an offense that isn't so insanely rigid. For whatever reason Alabama and LSU were the only games Jimbo ever really changed anything up. It was like those were the only two games he actually cared about. No longer playing slower than most NFL teams will also be a nice change. Just letting the talent on offense breath should net 2-3 more wins so long as injuries don't decimate key positions.

This year will be fun. We can honestly go 7-0/6-1 before the Lsu game. I'm honestly not worried about the defensive side of the ball, but the offense still gives me some hesitation. If we come out slinging it against Notre Dame, I'll be fine.

If we lose to t.u, I might pronbomb the Rant (also where the hell are the sigs?)

I think everyone is in the same boat when it comes to offense, optimistic. Cause it can’t get much worse than it’s been lol

What excites me is we’re gonna find out real quick how good it is cause ND week one ain’t no joke I’m always excited for football season

The offense is going to be somewhere between decent and terrible again. The OL is a wasteland, and our DL are not world beaters. They are good, but so are the DL for most of this league. It might take years to fix the Fisher issues with the OL.

Scourton
Stewart
Turner
Regis
Howell
Dindy

I might beg to differ with this group.

I think Klein's offense will help mask this somewhat.

The more I think about this, the more I do think we’ll be world beaters. I think our DL has the highest potential and higher floor out of any position group on either side of the ball.

I see we got a black jersey announced. Pretty excited for that, it looks good! Wondering if we break it out against ND for the night game or save it for later in the season

CBS sports just released their preseason bowl projections and they have us making the playoffs as the 8th seed.

Kind of interesting considering Jerry Palm usually puts us in the Texas Bowl to start the year. I wonder if that's done now that he can no longer predict Texas as the opponent.

Well he also had us losing to tu by a last second TD by Arch Manning to keep us out of the SEC title game.

NVM it was the athletic that predicted the tu loss but it would so on brand for us if Palm predicted that and it actually happened.

Has anyone seen a depth chart for OL? Sounds like (from online, no actual source) Zuhn & Bisontis have the left side locked down. Supposedly, Reed-Adams the Kansas transfer has taken over at RT? Also sounds like the transfer from Utah is likely the center, leaving Nabou & Dewberry to fight for RG (Nabou as of today). Very surprised about RT if true.

Interested to see if anyone has heard something different from above.

Why are you surprised? Bisontis was playing out of position at RT and the transfers are having a good camp. You put the five best men on the line and roll with it.
