We'd host. Tn tech didn't submit a bid.

I have zero expectations for this postseason and would consider it a success if all we did was pants the sips in their yard.

Indiana is clearly the most well rounded. They have solid pitching and can hit with power. However, they're a Big 10 team and played 75th toughest schedules including 29 games vs teams outside the top 100 RPI.
We're clearly the class of the regional when it comes to pitching. We have the best record vs the toughest schedule and it is due to the pitching staff. We don't have anyone knocking on the door of the first round of the MLB draft, but we have arms for days.
t.u. has a surprisingly (to me) bad pitching staff. I wanted to see if they're poor K-BB ratio was due to just not striking guys out of walking too many and somehow it is both. They walk between 4-5 per 9 and K just over 7 per 9.
I haven't dug down into individual players just yet, but TSU has the offense to hurt someone. Sure, they face complete shite pitching all year, but if they had just one pitcher capable of throwing some quality innings then their offense is good enough to upset tu. (see TSU over Rice in 03 when we won the regional)

I got a 3 all session passes for the regional. I am trying to figure out when/if I can make it out. Anyone else going?

Ross stripling has been fantastic this year my aggys

Good to see Ross get a chance in the rotation. Always thought he would be an awesome target for a lesser club to put in the rotation if they were making a deal with LA. Glad it happened for him there

Corbin Martin has been strong in ‘stros Double A. He might have a future in the Astros rotation in about 2 years with Keuchel, Morton, Cole, & Verlander coming to the end of their contacts next year or the year after.

RANKINGS Texas A&M - 25th (USAT, NCBWA);
1. I didn't realize we were ranked still.
2. When looking at all the games Indy scored 2 or fewer runs, it was vs a RHP 8/9 times. When Iny scored 13 or more, it was vs a LHP 3/5 times. I'm only looking as basic box scores and not deeper stats or even splits, but it appears they hit lefties better than righties. I hope RC didn't make a plunder starting Dox.
3. F Yes we have Peterson in the booth.
4. tu is starting their Saturday guy vs TSU and saving their Friday night guy for Saturday.

yea to clarify, its kingham that is still under the weather, who will be throwing against us.
Clemens hits lefties better than righties so maybe that factored into robs decision.

How about this? tu saw Dox last year. They knocked him out after 3-1/3 after he gave up 2 hits, 2 walks, 3 runs (only 1 earned). Trillkenny on the other hand already has some big-time postseason experience (pitched in the last 2 supers). The moment shouldn't be too big for him.
