Herman will land more 5* in these last few months than Sumlin has the entire cycle. This should be interesting

Peevy has a higher upside, because he's 2 years younger.

I just want all of the Herman haters (looks at sarge) to be noted here, because there will be some tasty crow in their future I imagine.
On another note, can we all lol at Kyle Allen now? Would love to know what Herman told him before he committed to Houston. At least he will have the power of that U of H degree to fall back on if football doesn't pan out.

im not worried so much about us having people flipped but yea we arent going to close on any major texas prospect and most of that is entirely due to narrative which is just a kick to the balls

Herman is a better fit for the Big12 over the SEC. If he had chosen LSU, I don't think LSU would have won any conference championships with him. His run game would have failed against Alabama.

Today it wouldn't. His read option at Cougar High took a while to develop during the plays and Alabama is too fast for that. No way Tom Herman can beat Alabama year in and out. I consider 2014 a fluke. His offense is definitely better suited for the Big12. He's going to probably walk into Texas and win with all the great talent Charlie has recruited, just like he did at UofH. Fixing the defense will be something to keep an eye on.

Herman is a tool, his tenure at sippyland could have some small successes but only because the big 12 isn't even a power5 conference any more
