If I see any chickens in the neighborhood I'll gladly sacrifice them. But I think we get a HUGE assist from the Iowa vs. UH game, and Aggies will have a big hitting day against whoever's 4th pitcher.

I think RC is being very strategic saving Kilkenny. He's either planning for long innings tomorrow when Kolek is done or saving him for Monday to start.

I agree. You pitch who gives you the best chance to win tonight. Both teams will deal with delays if there are some. Kolek has to go in with the mindset of having funky rest.

Doesn't look like our game is going to happen at this point.
I was trying to read up on rain delay rules. Wasn't clear to me at all. I wonder if they'll move them all to tomorrow. Forcing Iowa/Houston to go 3-0 in a day seems damn near impossible.

Who do we pull for UH vs. Iowa? Iowa has the national leader in HRs, but it seemed like UH hit a dozen of them against BU.

Went to TexAgs to see if they had any information on when the game would start, and the first thing I read on the main baseball thread was climate change denial. I knew I stopped going there for good reasons

Davidson runs that table as a 4 seed and beats UNC twice. Holy sheeeeeeeeeeeet.
This pretty much means we will host if we don't go 0-2. If we can avoid going 0-2 then Davidson is the only thing standing between us and the CWS. Baseball is a funny SOB.
