1. The kids we signed are good at football, a couple are excellent
2. MOST aren't as good as the kids that signed w/ bama, LSU, ole piss etc (the teams we play)
3. The class didn't fill MANY of our needs. We have ONE OF the worst lb corps in the sec and got two more mid tier guys. Same with the OL
4. I'm really excited for a few guys. Madu & QD are two I really wanna see on the field this summer/fall. Think both have the ability to be excellent.

Final edit complete. Ready to be published.

Honestly, this might be for the best. It's obvious Sumlin isn't the guy but he could stick around with another 8 win season.

It's gonna suck to go 5-7 or worse next year but it will be the quickest death possible. A good class might have just prolonged things.

At this point, it's in the best interest of the program for him to do something that forces us to fire him and an average season might not do it. I'm left in the awkward position of prefer img 4-8 over 8-4 next year.

I agree that Sumlin isn't the guy. But I prefer we come out next year and play dirty, scrappy, mean, pissed off football and dark horse this shite. I never want the Ags to go 4 wins.

The worst part is that I haven't followed recruiting at all this year and today it is all hitting me at once like a fricking truck.

I still can't believe that a team that went 5-7 and got shut out by IOWA frickING STATE managed to pull that off.

I'm struggling to find 6 wins with as bad as our offensive line is going to be and as weak as we are against the run.

UCLA - Loss
at Auburn - Loss
Arkansas - Loss
Tennessee - Loss
Ole Miss - Loss
at Alabama - Loss
LSU - Loss

It's not that bad, but I don't see 9 wins.

Look at tu's schedule though, that is another 7 loss season with that inept offense

Tell me, objectively, with a straight face, how we win ANY of the losses I just mentioned.

I think ucla is overrated, I think auburn still has problems next year, and we can always find a way to beat Arkansas especially after what they lost after this year. The rest I have down as automatic losses and we lose another in there somewhere

We're 3 pt favorites vs UCLA.

We may win that game. We may not. But acting like we are stone cold locks to lose that game is dumb.
