The staff seems to be confident about Pennamon. They want another RB since Boyd's grades seem to be an issue. They did not bring another RB in for a visit this weekend. If I had doubts, I would have scheduled a visitor.

They may be misreading Pennamon, of course. But their actions suggest they feel good about him.

I heard that as well. A&M's definitely a major player for him. I'd probably put the percentages at

45% Texas
30% Texas A%M
25% Baylor

30% doesn't sound good at all.

Well I'm not a moderator for some website who pumps sunshine by saying their team has a 50% chance when it's "between three teams equally". I think Texas has a slight lead as of now, but Baylor is definitely in the picture and I believe his visit to A&M went great. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at any of those schools.

A&M's biggest problem was the two QBs transferring right before the dead period, and it killed momentum with a ton of recruits. Sumlin and co. are doing their best to make up for that fiasco, but it's not easy to do.

I think this is just a UCLA/A&M battle.

The Texas sites, especially OB, are hedging like a motherfricker right now. Lots of "Well all these guys were locks two weeks ago, BUT anything can happen with teenagers..." They aren't nearly as gung-ho as they were several weeks ago.

It sound like Jones and Fowler are getting the same "treatment" from Texas. Fowler's parents suddenly pushing him away from LSU so hard is fricking suspicious as hell.

I don't know the exact number, but Texas seems to be counting on a bunch of uncommitted recruits (a dozen?) going their way on signing day. That's a pretty risky strategy for a team that needs help in a lot of places.

Hell, we've got 5 or so we're waiting on and that makes me nervous. And we probably won't get all of them.

His family has been pro Texas since the beginning. Erick seems to want to be at LSU. We'll just have to see what happens on our end.

Was that a change?

On the positive side Hamm posted this morning that things seem to be trending our way for Brandon Jones and people he knows in Nacogdoches feel he chooses us. It's Hamm though

Also said he's heard Pennamon will pick us today
