The answer is always: Wait until the last day or so, when prices drop. Can even bring a bunch of cash to the stadium and find a scalper (much easier if you plan on being there early and tailgating).

Just don't buy tickets before the season starts. Prices almost assuredly will be higher than on game week.

If you care about sitting with Aggies, the texags ticket forum always has a ton of away game tickets

You can definitely wait until the week of and go to the ticket forum on Texags or do flash seats or stubhub. There are a ton of cheap seats going as you get closer with the expanded capacity. I wouldn't sweat it

Never caught a perma anywhere. Did have to turn in my Never Been Banned card over there last year though. Caught a 24 hour one for reverse trolling some sock in a racist way

Can't remember the genesis of it (I joined the thread in question after it was well underway), but this troll was acting all high and mighty about A&M being this supposed racist mecca, so instead of combating him with facts/anecdotes, I just started saying belligerent, stupid shite like "yeah, I hate black people!" "Should've never let 'em in our school!" etc.

Troll thought I was serious, everyone else in the thread was laughing their asses off because they knew the ruse, and ol' boy lost his cool (even more) and threatened to sue me

I didn't get the chance to respond because the thread got schwacked after that, and everyone in it at the time got a 24 hour ban at least

It's my 2nd perma ban there, first from chinstrap #feelingblessed

Eta: props on the lawsuit threat. I've had a couple mongoloids offer to discuss things face to face. I guess my posting style misleads people to think I'm short and shy IRL or something, when my posting is actually a pretty fair representation of what a big goofy jackass I really am.

Mine was nothing like that. Wasn't expecting it and he didnt explain why. As far as I can tell, I basically made the mistake of posting on a thread that got him rustled. His skin is a lot thinner than it appears in person.
