Pretty clear that Mack doesn't want to be the leader of the class. Get Kyler on board and we'll be in good shape.

CGSC gave the exact same treatment to a former player and I don't think he's posted since.
Ouch....

Kind of strange. We have no momentum going right now. No spring game actually hurts.
We need some good press. Maybe the draft will help with 3 guys going early.

this makes me sad. Maybe my favorite recruit in this class. I really didn't see that coming

I think Anderson is going to regret this. RB is stacked this year in TX. We have some major OOS targets too. If we move on I won't be sad.
That's not to take anything away from Anderson. He's legit.

Merritt would be more than capable of filling Anderson's spot if we landed him now but not to take away anything from Anderson because he is a pretty awesome running back in his own right.
It's still early in the recruiting season but it's not easy to recommit to a program once you leave. Most don't. Lawrence Jones did for 'Bama but that was pretty late in the cycle. :(

I tried to tell yall about Murray awhile back in some of the SECR threads that came up about him. I know it's hard to believe people on here but I'm fairly close to his family
No clue about Mack or Anderson but I'll ask around. No Spring Game is really hurting us though

What did you try to tell us?

I haven't seen any rumors about Kyler.
The only thing I have seen is one Oregon analyst predict he goes to Oregon in his Crystal Ball. Means about as much as Hamm's Crystal Ball predictions.

Yeah I'm still pretty confident about kyler and daylon, it was just a bad day lol... Rodney could still stay at a&m, I'd rather him be up front and open about it if he is looking around.

Also the way the crystal ball competition works, I'm surprised no one else has crystal balled other schools. The points are weighted by order of pick.

Not to point any fingers, but maybe people aren't sound on playing for Clarence McKinney, after all the only guy we lost last year was ho-hum a running back who went to craptastic TCU of all places in Shaun Nixon. Coincidence? Or just getting a bad river card in a hand of Texas hold 'em?
If Mack leaves, I think the bleeding stops there but it's pretty fricking disappointing. I know aside from Mack we've offered 8-9 other DT's, and I know depth is paramount in terms of being successful in the SEC and that's why we've kept offering others but I wonder if it's also because Sumlin was afraid this might happen at some point and began a contiguency plan to combat this scenario.
Ok rants over, gonna go back to my scotch and water to counteract my BAS. frick.

Kyler isn't as much of an Aggie lock as people think he is and isn't too fond of following Manziel and getting those comparisons. Wants to set his own path and garner his own recognition outside of "Oh, he's like Manziel"
It's not something A&M can't overcome, but I would imagine this interest in Oregon is more worrisome than I would originally think.
We need recruiting momentum in the worst way, but with no Spring Game or anything like that, we are almost stuck in the mud until our next camp (if we have one) or until the season gets underway

Mariota is going to be a top Heisman candidate this year.
I'm not disputing your logic, and it probably has a good deal of validity, but if he goes to Oregon, he will be facing the same ghost, different name.

Mm could win the Heisman and nc and wouldn't be as popular as Johnny football.
