I'm not implying that's the reason we need him, but it's nice to see the impact he would have on the rankings.

So I'm the only one that thinks we get him?

Pathetic

Break into the Federal Reserve and get that mythical helicopter that drops bales of money.

yes it would. Bringing home Smith after THAT would be like Commodus coming back to Rome to start his reign as Caesar from the movie Gladiator.

Smith is the kind of thing I woke up expecting. This would make it a great signing day/week.

If that young man from GA's first choice was UCLA, it is hard for me to see him ending up with us. I mean if he was wanting to move across the continent to LA, it sounds like he wanted a Hollywood atmosphere that you certainly won't find in College Station.

We need linebackers and could certainly use him, of course. Just hard for me to see this happening. A lot of hipsters in Athens, I hear though, so maybe that will do for a LA-like vibe.. Bet he winds up there.

What an incredibly baseless assumption.

UCLA had been recruiting him the longest and was the first to offer. His official to Aggieland was reportedly his best official visit. We arrived extremely late to the party, and we're only in this position now because of Chavis. Sounds like the kid really wants to leave Georgia. So, if it ain't UCLA, we have a damn good shot.

The kid is from a small town in GA. He's not some ATL kid who's lived his whole life in a big city. We don't know what his reasoning for UCLA was besides they were first and he says things about wanting to blaze his own trail

These extra few days help Michigan and A&M. The UCLA coach will either leave or stay. And you know UGA fans will be all over him trying to get him to stay.

Not sure if anybody is keeping a list of preferred walkons, but here is one.

WR Greer Shetler, 6'3" 205 (Alamo Heights) @GreerShetler

So Kendrell McFadden isn't committed anywhere and shows an offer from A&M. Do we have a shot?
