What is funny is they are hiring the guy to get a recruit, but he might be the best offensive coach on their staff...
Yeah feel that burn Mr. Lurking Sip.

Weird how the sites vary on their opinions. Hamm said if Sumlin could convince Martin's mom to let him play out of state, Martin would likely flip.

Easy to negative recruit our depth chart.
This frustrates me because there should be only 4 receivers on our team that get more than 3 snaps a game next year. Speedy, Reynolds, RSJ and Kirk.

Deshawn Capers-Smith, our CB recruit out of Warren Easton. He played QB this year and led Warren Easton to the state title game. Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and Parade All-American. Hell of an athlete. Was Tyron Johnson's QB

TJ is a beast and was one of my early favorites in this class.
Remember when we were losing ground and "Sumlin personally took over his recruitment"?

Who was originally recruiting him? I can't remember, it would have been from before Joseph was on staff I think.

What about Ed Pope? Kyrion Parker? Nacho? I think Ratley will be very good as well. We're deep at WR. There's just no getting around that. And when other schools lay out the depth chart and include walk-ons, it looks like half our roster consists of WRs

I can already picture the post now: Sumlin promised TJ that DCS will play QB

Yates?

And the goal is to always be able to rotate guys so I think were always gonna be deep at WR. It might scare some guys off but ultimately we should always be pretty talented at that spot because of our offense

I agree "over", but wasn't sure how were defining "new"

Absolutely. But then I never heard about him again, and he never showed much interest in us. I mean, hell, putting Tceh ahead of us was crazy.
But... maybe this was all part of the plan

it also depends on what the definition of tomorrow is

Pope got his fair share of PT last year and that was fine but the other guys no. There is too big of a drop off in talent from speedy, kirk and the other guys I named to them. I want my best players on the field as much as possible. Lodge could come in and do what Pope does (be a deep threat) better than he does it. I agree that we are loaded but we played a guy with the last name of Niederhofer on critical drives in big games. No excuse for that IMO

so between now and tomorrow, you would take the over on 2.5 yessirs?
