Holy. Merritt is considering fronting the costs and taking an unofficial with Bussey this weekend. Hamm says if Bussey flips, Merritt will likely commit to the Ags as well. Please God. Please let this happen.

I would argue that no one is 100% committed- and I could see that maybe there is "something." I just don't think/can't think of a something big enough to screw us over so badly.
Just wanted to cool down the pre melt a bit.

Honestly if Kyler does sign with the sips I hope he flips on NSD.
Then gets drafted high.
Then gets drafted high.

As a person who doesn't really follow recruiting, all I can say is that some of the crap I've read on TA is borderline creepy. Grown arse men keeping a 24/7 watch on the twitter, Instagram, and Vines of young boys is downright........creepy.

I hear you. I would argue that guys like Dunning, Pryor, Elbert, Siverand, Bradford, etc. have been 100% committed and have never wavered. Even five stars like Allen and Garrett were 100% committed and never looked around after committing. Kyler is not 100% committed. That's just a fact. We will probably/hopefully still ink him, but he's not the lock that the aforementioned guys were and have been.

this.
Crazy thing is that this happens with every major program.

He hasn't taken his aggie bracelet off since he committed. This is not him throwing the horns sign, while an Ag like Johnny did. He basically escorted Damarkus Lodge, his #1 recruiting target to one of his biggest competitors. Hell i'd send him to Ole Miss with him if it were up to me.

I'm buddies with Jonathan Mayo, the minor league analyst for MLB. He didn't get a chance to watch Kyler at the UA baseball game this year because he was unable to make the trip, but he currently has Kyler in the top 30 (just a prospect ranking, not draftability). He says Kyler will probably rise in the spring after his senior season. Kyler is also supposedly moving to SS for his senior season (much more coveted position than 2B). He has the tools for SS.

Not as creepy as Jarrett Stidham living with a grown man who is his "boss" and not a relative

Perroni's source seems to think Lodge was tagging along with Kyler, not the other way around. Dude said Lodge hasn't talked about tu in a long time. Kyler isn't 100% committed. He could be 99% committed or 75% committed. We don't know. But it ain't 100%.

But really, am I the only person who's excited about the Merritt news?! What the hell, people?

Not gonna post the picture, but he actually looks really sharp. Navy suit, orange tie, cool shoes. His tie and pocket square aren't the same shade of orange though. Points off for that.

It's actually a Tennessee orange. Inspired by Peyton

I'm tellin' ya, navy suit, orange tie. It can only mean one thing. ONLY ONE THING!!!

Chill out, people. Our biggest "recruit" was our DC. That hire was the grand slam of all grand slams. What these 18 year olds do doesn't change the fact we're going to have an improved defense. Or the fact that Sumlin QB's always kick arse. We had one "must have" this year, and that is it. If we finish with a top 10 class and Chavis, it was the best offseason in A&M football in many moons....
We'll find out where Murray is going soon enough. And life will go on wherever he goes. How many of you guys are still wondering about Hoza Scott? A lot of these guys are 5 stars today; and gone tomorrow.
