While the UCLA visit was great, I feel more confident today that he will not be heading to UCLA for school.
I think this is coming down to A&M and Texas. I'm still of the opinion that A&M is the leader.
Things can change as it gets down to decision time and multiple factors are all put on the table.

Outside of the matching pocket square he's strong. Malik is wearing a vest. The dark gray on black & black on black is not a good look. It reminds me of something you'd wear to prom.

The white dress shirt is too plain. Not a fan of the red tie / white shirt / gray suit combo. Not the biggest fan of Kyler's all-black ensemble, but it's not awful. I like Malik's suit but would've preferred a different shirt color.

should correct. He was a grey shirt for them so Minny offered a full ship and he's an EE. So rather than sit out a year, he's enrolling now. I do wonder why they aren't offering the same considering they wanted him to begin with and Weathersby bolted. But them not doing so probably pissed him off.

Let me sum up the shaggy logic for why a recruit wouldn't want to play at Texas:
1. He's obviously too stupid to play here if he doesn't pick Texas over someone else.
2. He wants to use drugs and Strong won't allow but other places do.
3. Everyone but us is paying the recruits.

I've seen so many of their fans use the "we want players that want to be Longhorns" rationale over the last year or two. Warms my fricking heart. When you're saying that you have become a backup option for recruits and your fans know it

Get ready for the diamonds in the rough rational when Charlie backfills all these three stars last minute because he whiffed on the big targets.
Seriously, charlie is a worse recruiter than we could have hoped. He is easily the worst I have seen get a major job.
Most guys should get a little recruiting bump the first year, especially on their side of the ball, and he is getting nothing outside of the state of Florida.
