I saw Malik would have been the fastest LB'er in any draft since '05...

Dunning is going to be a beast, and I hope he keeps recovering/progressing. He has so much frame to still build on.

do you think anyone that's currently committed will have a major fall in the rankings?

probably, but they never report player so-and-so got burned or whatever. My guess is Murray falls though

the morning times were run on turf. The evening on grass. The combine is on turf but it's slow turf so the times are more like grass. Also, Malik is still rather thin and he'll fill out. All those things factor and I think trying to compare a guy in HS to NFL combine times is not that simple.

Combines like this are best used to measure vis players entered. And in that respect, he's still an absolute freak as he outran most of the very best WRs and DBs in the country.

what's up with Kris Boyd? Horns are saying he has a top 2 of FSU and Texas.

"I don't know what exactly has happened and things can obviously change but Boyd lists Texas and Florida State as his main two schools," Perroni posted from the Texas 7-on-7 which Boyd is participating in.

Texas A&M has long been considered a top contender as well. In fact, the Aggies claim 50% of Crystal Ball predictions while Texas (27%) and Florida State (23%) split the remainder.

I think its a success to go on 2, not 5. I assume one of the two is A&M.

You never know. Maybe Sumlin told him to go to recruit others to A&M.

He'd do that without Sumlin asking him.

Schedule official visits to LSU and Alabama. Get in Saban's and Miles' heads.

eh... now the shagg is saying Daylon was trying to get something together himself on July 18th and Sumlin didnt show him any support so it made him mad.

quote:

Hilarious stuff from Aggieland. Now there will be no Aggie picnic - died on the vine. Sheffield will not be coming in and will try to catch a practice in August instead. Now the idiot subs are bitching about how Sumlin & McKinney F'ed up by not giving Daylon support in helping organize the event.

quote:

Mack actually seems like he is trying desperately to stick to his commitment which is actually kind of admirable for a guy at his age with his personality type. But if what was posted on IT is true then Sumlin and staff did sort of let him get clowned on this thing this week. Which kind of sucks for him. And I'm only inferring that they didn't give him any guidance whatsoever that they wouldn't be able to help organize anything this week. If they told him that and he still tried to get this thing together all on his own then it still kind of sucks for him, but obviously he had fair warning in that case.

Still waiting on the "major scandal" that will destroy the A&M athletic department.

A&M has the 3rd longest 2015 recruiting thread now. 18 pages ahead of UGA and 28 pages ahead of Ole Miss. 105 pages to catch up to AU and 270ish behind UA.

We gotta step out game up.

If anyone has a TA sub I highly suggest watching the 7 on 7 mind up with lodge and Moore. Lodge is your typical all world WR with an attitude and all the talent in the world. He went up and got anything near him. Moore isn't as impressive physically and isn't what you look for in your prototypical SEC LB but his leadership and effort is off the charts. I think he'll be a good one for several years.
