Same thing tmc started last year. Be sure to post your own prediction after you have given your answer so that the game continues.

Rules:

Okay, rather simple. Make a prediction about the upcoming season. It can be about anything really. The next poster must either Buy (they agree it will happen) or Sell (they think it will not). Answer and then post your own prediction.

Speedy Noil will lead the team in yards receiving and TDs.

False.

One of the running backs will tally over 1,000 yards rushing

I'll buy that. I think that Trey will break the 1000 yard mark because Kyle/Kenny won't be running as much as Johnny so our lead RB will get more carries.

Myles Garrett starts every game this season and records more than 5 sacks.

Sell.

Sell. Rice, SMU, Lamar, UL-Monroe, Ole Miss, Arkansas, MSU, Mizzu plus the bowl game gives us nine extremely winnable games on paper assuming we lose all four of the "big" games.

Our defense will rank in the top-75 in both yards and points allowed.

BUY.

QBs often get hurt but given we still don't even know our QB and both have a lot of potential, it won't surprise me at all if we do a mid-season switch either. But this thread is very difficult because we haven't even had guys report for summer classes yet

I'll go super bold to start. An A&M defensive player is named to All-SEC team (1st or 2nd) at the end of the year

Buy, Everett probably makes second team.

We avoid being blow out (17+ points) in all three of our ridiculously tough road games (USC, Auburn and Bama).

I'm kind of hoping we catch a team like Auburn off-gaurd. Hopefully they remember the beating we gave them in their house in 2012, and it's in their heads

Buy. I think Auburn is the only one that has the potential to beat us by 17 this year and I think we will keep it close again.

We will beat LSU but lose to Ole Miss.

Sell.

Ole Miss still has Bo Wallace and Brunetti is gone.

We have the #2 class for 2015

Sell. I think we win no more than seven games, and because of that take a hit recruiting.

Ricky seals jones gets hurt again, and misses games.

Sorry this is full of sad.

A&M is so hard to judge this year because Manziel and Sumlin showed up at the same time so we don't know which one made the team. I think A&M will be more balanced and better overall moving forward rather than relying on a handful of players on offense. This year I say 9-3 and then next year y'all will be poised to make a run with it. A&M, Alabama, and LSU will be monsters in 2015.

Buy.

A&M's football teams, and its players individually, seem to always massively over-perform when there's no expectation and fall flat when hyped. 2010 A&M had no buzz but was a salty team. 2011 was a massive choke job. 2012 A&M was supposed to suck but was very good. 2013 was hyped to the moon but had no defense and a bad OC. Reggie, every RB for 15 years, supposedly awesome, major underperformers (at least until the NFL). Manziel and Evans were amazing and (Evans especially) had no hype coming in. RSJ is supposedly the second-coming, but plays much weaker than Evans and seems injury-prone.

Sell. I could see us being a little bit higher (8 or 9), but not 7+.

Buy or sell- we have a 1000 yard receiver

Buy. I think as long as Sumlin is in College Station this will be something that is expected every year with his ability to develop QBs.

Buy or Sell - Kyle Allen starts all 13 games for the Ags and gets a bowl win as a true freshman

Sell. Playing the percentages. Not sure who is going to be QB. Leaning toward Allen, but am not ruling out Sumlin letting both have action/starts at the beginning of the season to find a permanent starter. I do think the eventual starter will reach and win a bowl game.

Buy or Sell - By the end of the season, all three defensive units (DL, LB, Secondary) will be considered average or better.

Sell. I say yes for DL but too many questions at LB and DB for both to be average IMO. I think DB has a better shot at being average. If we can be above average on the line (especially improve rushing the passer) and be average at DB I think we will improve a lot statistically as a unit.

A freshman or sophomore is our leading receiver next year
