I'm starting to think either it is Gruden, or Gruden agreed to be the smokescreen while Currie courts a sitting HC like Petersen, Patterson, Franklin, Marrone, etc.
The not so subtle hints that Gruden has dropped this week cannot be ignored, and he's either a tremendous a-hole who dngaf about his son's college experience and his wife and her family OR there's a real reason.

Yea not that he cares prolly but I'll be pretty upset if it somehow comes out he was just stringing us along this whole time with no intention of ever taking it

This right here is the biggest reason I think there is a very real possibility he comes. I have seen no indication that he is an a-hole but who knows.

Swain is my boy, I don't know if he knows if Gruden said no, or backed out, or if he's just ready for Gruden to shite or get off the pot, and if it's a no, so be it, we're moving on.

The only way I'll accept Mike Norvell is if it is confirmed that we offered Gruden the $70 mill, Patterson a ridiculous deal that he turned down, and Mullen a deal that he turned down. Makes me think that he's already got his guy wrapped up. I'm hoping that it's King Jon and he's letting Jon get his OC and DC on board and they'll announce it all Sunday after the Vandy game.
