Texas Sucked

Texas offense sucked arse tonight. We have too many weapons to be this inefficient, especially when our head coach is supposed to be an "offensive genius." One of the reasons we hired Coach Boom was so he had the ability to focus more on the offense.
Arch is either great or terrible, either overthrowing wide-open receivers or not putting enough touch on his passes. His short and quick game has not been good.
He's usually pretty solid on the deeper routes, but even that has been inefficient. Our WRs aren't helping also when they're dropping passes that hit them right in the hands.
Hopefully, this is just a huge hangover game after tOSU. Looking forward to the matchup in Knoxville.

Minus that 1st quarter, the defense played lights out.
But I'm tired of the same ole shite when we're supposed to have an offensive head coach.

We had to work way too hard for yards on offense - against UTSA. Disappointing.

Your defense has been good the last several years. That's why I never really understood the Muschamp hire (even though I like him just fine as a DC). The defense has never been the problem.

Sark made the Muschamp hire because he wanted a DC with head coaching experience so he could be more hands off during games and focus more on the offense when the defense is on the field.
So, that's also why it's more frustrating because this is shite that he said since the Muschamp hire during the offseason.

Sark was a good playcaller in college. He was even ok when he was the playcaller for the Falcons. What is the issue with him right now? Is there just too much on his plate? I've been pretty surprised with the way Texas has struggled on offense with him at the helm.

Idk where to begin. I don't think he's calling the wrong plays. Arch maybe is not at that level of a QB to execute the type of plays Sark wants his offenses to run.

I watched the game versus UTSA. Arch is simply not the QB he was hyped to be but he’s still serviceable, which is more than I can say for us.
It was kind of a weird game, took Texas time to pull away.

Texas defense just like since day 1 that offensive minded guru Steve sark got there is the only reason they beat anyone and the reason they fail to meet expectations like what will happen this year

It's kinda getting hard to defend Arch at this point.
But he did take care of business last Saturday and he wasn't perfect but he also didn't have any help those first 3 quarters.
What I like about Arch is, he has been really good at not turning the ball over. He has had one true interception this year against Texas State.
Last season he only had 7 ints.

I do. Arch is inconsistent, our offensive line is below average and Sark calls plays like we have a great offensive line.
We will likely lose next week. We are fortunate that aggott and okie suck. We can still sneak into the playoffs.

Texas had a Monday morning hangover and it showed. Punched the clock, played over 60 players 40 of which needed the time, rushed the ball 48 times burning clock, collected the check, nobody gets hurt. Tomorrow they focus on Tennessee and first conference game of tGrind. Focus on Tennessee, the game last night was meaningless and will be forgotten by tomorrow.
However, can't have anymore of this hangover nonsense. I think the team is mature enough to realize this, at least the main characters know it.

We went through this with Jayden. I haven't watched Texas much this season, but Jayden was leaving plays on the field because he was afraid to throw a pick. Sometimes you just have to uncork it and let it fly. You don't have to do it against UTSA to win though. A 20 point win is more than enough.

The issue is Sark's offense requires a certain type of QB to be effective. Ewers wasn't it. Arch isn't it.
Put Arch in a Lane Kiffin offense with simple reads and he'd put up serious numbers.
Right now, he's running long developing plays that "scheme a WR open" and by the time he sees the primary WR is covered, there's no time for secondary reads. He rushes his throws, mechanics break down, and he sails everything.

This sounds like he's staring his primary WR down and not checking the field. Since Arch and Sark are 0-3 against Georgia I won't complain.
