Tight end Dae'Quan Wright and defensive tackle Zxavian Harris, who were cleared earlier this week to return to college football after brief stints in the NFL, have not been added to LSU's roster for Saturday's season opener at home against Clemson, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel on Friday.

You are mistaken. Kiffin is playing 4D chess.

Monday, the first question Kiffin faced regarded whether players who had signed NFL contracts would make LSU's final roster, which faces a Friday deadline to be settled. Doing so would be in violation of SEC rules established last week prohibiting teams in any sport from rostering players who had signed professional contracts.
Kiffin said that he has no intention of defying any SEC rules, which are being contested pending a court hearing on Thursday.
"So we'll wait till this week to see if there's any more guidance," Kiffin said, regarding that court hearing. "And the question whether myself as the head coach of football and will football follow SEC orders? … Of course, we will."

Yeah but you know he's always one foot in, one foot out.

So are Zxavian Harris and Dae’quan just on the payroll to buy hookers and blow for free?

So all of you were flat out wrong in thinking he hadn't already crapped his pants.

Wonder what happens with the Judge that said he'd hold Lane and LSU in contempt of court if LSU didn't roster the players?

Not necessarily. They can be added at a later time. We now operate on a 105 man roster, and LSU has two open spots on their roster. People on either side that want to run around pretending their side won something should probably just sit back and let it play out, or they have a high chance of having to eat their words.

Lane owns your soul. Look at all of you fools. STILL can't get Lane off the brain.

Lane kinda reminds me of trump. Talks all big and bad but chickens out at the end

He did the right thing, good for college football! Chambliss should be denied as well. The SEC should be challenging it as well

And LSU and Lane are now in contempt of court in Louisiana. Crazy.
