Ole Miss has everything on the line today. Inside they know it. It’s why it’s all this way. They lose their bit of relevance that lane built is already over. They win they get to hang on a little longer. Lane and LSU will just continue on the upswing regardless being year 1 and his attention nation wide.
Lsu knew this when Saban went to bama. We all knew Saban would be the best in the game with bamas power over the SEC to look the other way. We had enough resources to stay relevant much longer than ole Miss can even with les miles.

No one ever questioned kiffin could coach x and os. He has never had these resources especially in modern college football. Ole Miss cannot compete with lsu in resources. There is a reason the caught filling Tiger stadium would get a lsu coach fired instantly. Tennessee and usc didn’t have the resources lsu has. USC maybe could now but their money is not into like LSU’s money. But that was different times. Kiffin can’t coach NFL. That’s dealing with men just like Saban. Plus he was damn near a kid himself back then.
